We are seeking a visionary and dynamic VP of Product Development to lead our efforts in developing innovative benefits administration and health insurance solutions.
Position Overview
The VP of Product Development will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for driving the strategic direction and execution of our product development initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare benefits landscape, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for enhancing the employee experience through innovative solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and refine products that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive product development strategy that aligns with Zymonetics’ mission and business objectives.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development.
Product Innovation: Lead the design and development of cutting-edge benefits administration and health insurance products that deliver value to our clients.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product enhancement.
Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product development team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients, industry experts, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and insights that drive product improvements.
Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in product development within the healthcare or insurance industry, with a focus on benefits administration.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing innovative products.
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and industry standards.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans.
Passion for improving healthcare outcomes and enhancing the employee experience.
